World Money Fair Technical Forum 2024 Review – Part 1

The World Money Fair Technical Forum celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, just two years after the main event commemorated its half-centennial, having been established in 1972.

The Technical Forum was opened by the Fair’s new director, GoetzUlf-Jungmichel, who in a subsequent press release commented that this year’s Fair had attracted 13,500 visits over its three days, setting a new attendance record. He mentioned the important role played by the Technical Forum at the Fair, and in doing so referred to its new design as part of the re-vamp of the Fair itself.

In concluding, he congratulated its two directors, Dieter Merkle (Schuler) and Thomas Hogenkamp (Spaleck), who together established the Forum 20 years ago and have organised it ever since.
