Mastering Colour and Precision with High-Speed Colour Inkjet Printers

Coloured commemorative coins are not necessarily a new phenomenon, with methods for producing these numismatic pieces evolving continuously. However, coloured commemorative circulating coins remain a relatively low percentage of the total, in comparison to uncoloured coins released.

In China, regular commemorative coins enjoy wide public appeal, with a single issue reaching anywhere from tens of millions to over 100 million pieces, which typically require three to four months to produce.

The mass production of colourised regular commemorative coins has, as result, required a breakthrough in colour spraying efficiency.

To address this challenge, China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation (CBPM) have developed a high-speed colour inkjet printer, striving to achieve innovations in colour rendition, overprint accuracy, production efficiency and quality control.
