Cape Town Presents MDC 2025 Coin Awards
The 32nd Mint Directors Conference (MDC) was held this week in Cape Town, South Africa. The event hosts the MDC Coin Awards, sponsored by MingFeng Packaging, which this year took place last night during the MDC Gala Dinner at Cape Point Vineyards.
The Coin Awards recognise industry achievements in the design, production, packaging, and distribution of commemorative and circulating coins worldwide. A new category was added for the 2025 awards – Best Collaboration Project. This year’s award winners, including those presented with second and third place, can be found below. The winners were chosen from a total of 112 nominations and adjudicated by the members of the MDA.
