Programme and Awards Announced for The Coin Conference 2024

The high-level programme and award categories for the next edition of The Coin Conference have been announced, with the event scheduled to take place 28-30 October in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Coin Conference focuses on circulating coins as part of countries’ currency strategies. This includes design, security and cost-effective production, as well as handling, distribution and management in circulation.

Highlights of the programme include presentations from the Federal Reserve Financial Services – FedCash Services, Bank of Latvia and ESCG, European Commission, Austrian Mint, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Mint Directors Working Group, International Mint Industry Association, and Banco de Portugal – plus many others.

Topics range from coin circulation and relevant legislation, coin cycle efficiency, distribution, and authentication to coin production, destruction, repatriation and sustainability.
