MKS PAMP Expands in North America

MKS PAMP Group has announced the opening of a new mint in Hollywood, Florida, which marks a significant expansion of the company’s silver production capabilities in North America.

Based on the site of what used to be an aviation hangar, it has a surface area of 26,000 sqft and has been repurposed into a facility capable of reaching an initial production volume of over 20 million ounces yearly with the capacity for expansion, said MKS PAMP.

According to company CEO, Marwan Shakarchi, the new facility is in line with the group’s corporate strategy to enhance its capabilities and production capacity in the North American silver market.

Lithuania Launches Commemorative Competitions

The Lithuanian Mint has launched a competition to design the national side of a €2 circulating commemorative around a defence theme. Once it has received submissions for the project, a commission from the Mint will then form a preliminary approval list for submission to, and later approval from, the Bank of Lithuania.
