Remarkable New Issues
Coin & Mint News™ continues our ‘Remarkable New Issues’ segment, in partnership with CoinsWeekly, by highlighting two new collectible issues that are notable for the anniversaries they celebrate and one coin that is the first of its type.

A Holy Year for Italy

To mark this occasion, which is expected to bring millions of additional pilgrims to Rome, Italy is issuing a €2 commemorative circulation coin. The coin features the Holy Door of St Peter’s Basilica, which is only opened during Holy Years.
