United States Supports Youth Football Initiatives
The United States Mint has released six commemorative coins and a three-coin commemorative set to celebrate the World Cup. Authorised under the FIFA World Cup 2026 Commemorative Coin Act, the programme includes $5 gold coins, $1 silver, and clad half-dollars (50 cent coins), available in both proof and uncirculated finishes, alongside a limited-edition three-coin proof set.
The $5 gold coin features a globe depicted as a football centred on North America, while the silver dollar and half-dollar showcase dynamic football imagery. All denominations share a common reverse design depicting three hands raising the FIFA World Cup Trophy against a stylised stars and stripes backdrop.
