A few recent personnel updates from The Royal Mint, Royal Dutch Mint, MKS PAMP, and Schuler.

The Royal Mint

The Royal Mint has announced that Nick Bowkett will become Head of Growth for its Precious Metals division, spearheading its planned expansion into new markets globally. Bowkett’s previous role, leading the Mint’s wholesale business within the Precious Metals division, saw the wholesale channel grow by almost 320% over the last four years.

According to TRM, the new business channel is intended to bolster its broader growth strategy, support investors, and offer a range of investment products and services via distribution channels worldwide. The new appointment continues TRM’s planned transformation and modernisation into new and growing areas (see CMN June), with the Head of Growth role intended to increase the Mint’s market share within the D2C and B2B customer markets. Development of new products and engagement with central banks will also fall under Bowkett’s purview.
