RDM Expands National Partnerships

The Royal Dutch Mint (RDM) has secured a new multi-year contract with the Central Bank of Ireland to mint all Irish collector coins and, from May 2026, €2 commemorative coins celebrating Irish culture and heritage. This agreement represents a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between RDM and several European central banks.

Under the terms of the contract, the Royal Dutch Mint will not only be responsible for minting Irish coins but will also manage the full range of activities associated with collector coins. This includes product development, marketing, international distribution, and customer service.

Collectors can purchase official Irish collector and commemorative coins through www.collectorcoins.ie, which will continue to serve as the central platform for sales and information. The first coins produced under the new agreement are expected to be available shortly after the contract’s commencement in May 2026.
