Royal Dutch Mint Boosts Its Capabilities

The Royal Dutch Mint (RDM) has announced the launch of a new category of products available for purchase on its e-commerce sites – bullion coins. As part of its announcement, the RDM noted its pre-existing longtail strategy, selling not just its own products but also foreign and numismatic coins, for its e-commerce platforms.

However, the support of partner and parent company Heimerle + Meule has enabled the RDM to offer precious metal products whose value are more vulnerable to global events and changing metal prices. Products include the Canada’s Maple Leaf, Austria’s Philharmoniker, and South Africa’s Krugerrand.
