Mint Of Poland Secures Outlets – Banking on Indigenous Growth

The Mint of Poland (Mennica Polska), which trades on the Warsaw Stock Exchange as the only publicly-listed mint, has three distinct business segments – (1) Mint Products (circulating and collector coins and other numismatic products, engraved/medallist products, gold bars and other investment products), (2) Electronic Payments (public transport tickets and other electronic products) and (3) Real Estate Development (rental of office and storage space), representing 82.7%, 16.54%, and 0.76% of revenue in 2022 respectively.

Total revenue for 2022 was just over PLN 1.28 billion (€273.5 million) compared with PLN 1.3 billion (€268 million) in 2021, a drop of 2%. Operating profit fell by 41% to PLN 51.8 million and pre-tax profit by 66.5% to PLN 37.8 million. Net profit for 2022 was PLN 32.4 million.
